I have a great love for the Australian country. I have built a small cabin and barn on 100 acres with two kilometers of Snowy River frontage in the Snowy Mountains high country.This I have built myself with friends. It is totally self sustainable yet in keeping with the late 19th century country vernacular of the area. It is my most treasured escape from the inner city pressures. I have learnt so much about the country over the last 22 years of being on this land - it allows me to think about sustainability, sky and vistas. I love creating rural environments to live in that focus on views over the natural landscape. We have renovated barns and old farm buildings using sparse clean lines to modernise yet restoring and maintaining the traditional materials, form and nature of existing buildings. We have designed new buildings for country properties and plan them to be oriented towards the best views and provide a really good climatic resolution.
